Garrin I've missed you, like a lot, I think about all the fun we had on the bus every day. I have missed you like crazy and I wish I could go back in time and save you. You always knew how to keep me happy, anytime I got on the bus with a frown on my face you knew how to cheer me up, you were my best friend and you still are, no one will ever be able to take your place in my heart. I wish you were still here but I know you are in a better place now and I know you are watching over me. I love you Garrin, like the little brother I never had!

You do not know me but I needed to post I could never imagine the pain you are going through and there are not words that I can say that will make the pain go away. My son and daughter both knew your son. They said he could always make them laugh. I, as a mother, am so sorry for your loss and prayers for your family. Heaven has another beautiful angel, as I have a nephew that is in Heaven also. Passed on his 2nd day of kindergarten. My son says they are already together. Though we do not know each other, and have never met; as a father, husband, and fellow Hawkeye's die hard, I wish to share our sympathies after hearing of Garrin's passing earlier in the week and his unfettered love for our beloved Hawkeyes. Such a sweet boy Garrin was. Always smiling. I cannot imagine the pain that the family is going through. He had a purpose in life and death. One would have never known his desire to help the children of Africa and I'm proud of Kaiden for following through with his brothers wish by setting up a GoFundMe account to carry out Garrin's hope.
